A Series of Questions

This city has been
growing smaller
each day and I
don’t know which
place to call home.

I guess life is just
a series of questions,
and it ends with —
“Was it all worth it?

You will try to mimic
so many poets,
And write as if you
know who you are.

Each day further
from tragedy,
Will bring you
Closer to home.

Just pray that it
is still there
When you reach
the address.
